How to delete your account
- In the app: Account › Legal › Delete my account › enter your password or confirm again with Google or Apple › Delete.
- On the website: sign in and go to Delete my account (siteorstyle.com/profile/delete).
- If you can't sign in: email support@siteorstyle.com from your registered address with the subject "Delete my account". We'll process it within 30 days at the latest and let you know. If the request comes from a different address, we'll send a confirmation link to your registered address.
- To get a copy of your data first: Account › Privacy and permissions › Download my data.
What is deleted
- Immediately and permanently:
- Your name, email address and password
- Your date of birth, city, style, budget, occasion, colour and place preferences, language preference
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Your taste profile
- Saved outfits, products and places; hidden items; your "bought" list
- Outfits you built and your place survey answers
- Push tokens and notification preferences
- Consent records and sign-in attempt records
- Your Google and Apple sign-in links; if you used Apple, the app's authorisation at Apple is revoked too
- Your time zone and notification delivery and open records
- All open sessions are signed out
What is kept, and for how long
- Interaction history (e.g. how often an outfit was viewed): detached from your account and kept as anonymous statistics that can't be linked to you.
- Affiliate click and sale records: kept for the statutory retention period for commission accounting, with the link to you removed.
- Database backups: deleted data leaves backups within 14 days at the latest.
- Server logs: deleted within 14 days at the latest.
- "See on model" images: images of fictional models with no personal data; the link to you is removed.
- Crash reports: not linked to your account; deleted automatically in Firebase Crashlytics after 90 days.
- We also ask our service providers (e.g. notification infrastructure) to delete the data. Details: Privacy Policy.
